“Todd Harmon is one of the best builders of acoustic guitars around! The quality and sound are outstanding! Anyone who is in the market for a great acoustic guitar should give Harmon guitars a listen.” — Paul Yandell
"To all fellow musicians and acoustic guitar enthusiasts,

First, I bought an L.R.Baggs acoustic reference amplifier from the Acoustic Guitar Corner web site . Todd went out of his way to find out what my specific needs were and then went the extra mile to make sure that the process of ordering and shipping went as smooth as possible. Acoustic Guitar Corner offers great customer service.

I then decided to purchase a Harmon handmade guitar. To make such a purchase, site unseen, over the internet and telephone, was a little unnerving at first. But Todd knew all the right questions to ask me about my playing style and what I liked and disliked and then picked out for me the perfect Harmon model SMSA-WM walnut acoustic guitar. When it arrived I could hardly wait to get it out of the packing!! I tuned it up and softly let it sing to me. OH, OH, OH does it sing!! The feel and action are incredible!! The neck fits so comfortably in my hand. The pictures really don't do it justice. The finish is immaculate!! But how it sings, it's by far the most beautiful voice I have ever heard in a guitar. You know, once you've seen it, you know it's beautiful, but you have to hear it to really know the level of quality in it. I can talk and describe it until the cows come home, but you have to hear and feel it to really know the difference between one of Todd's handmade guitars and anything else you've ever played on. Once you play on it, a magic bond sets in between you and the guitar that I had not felt with any of my other guitars. I'm telling you it sings to you!!! And you feel its song is only for you, although others are welcome to enjoy it, you feel it is meant to be especially just for you. When I finally got to plug it into my new L.R Baggs amplifier I was amazed again at the deep rich sound of the Baggs M1A soundhole pickup. You were right, the pickup and amp are an awesome combination!! The case is also something else! I can understand why Todd likes them so much. It is like no other case I've ever seen! It seems to have been custom made for my baby!

Whether you're looking for a great handmade acoustic guitar or any type of acoustic guitar accessory, I highly recommend Harmon Guitars and Acoustic Guitar Corner because they have great products and great customer service. "

"Mr. Harmon, you have unwittingly made a believer (and an enormous fan) out of me. I've been a diehard solidbody electric player for most all of my musical life. I've played a slew of acoustics, including the four Martins owned by my family in Nashville, and've always favored the sound and playability of solidbodies... ...Enter Arts Patron Steve Holder, bearer of the elusively one-of-a-kind 'Number 12'. With one turn at bat with this fine instrument, I've been forced to re-evaluate some long-held standards of mine regarding the guitar... Three days into my acquaintanceship with your work, I've been cursed with falling completely in love with an axe that does not belong to me, nor currently within my means to possess were it unspoken for. I am determined to, at some point in the near future, attempt to finance a commission of an exact-as-possible facsimile of 'Number 12'. I've simply never played, seen, nor heard anything quite like it. It is truly one of, if not THE finest guitar I've ever played. ...And while I'm waxing that wish-list, I'd love nothing more than to have you even consider entertaining the notion of a commission to build some prototypes of my solidbody designs. Kudos, Sir! Respectfully, JMT"

Fellow Musicians,
Let me take a minute of your time to tell you about an outstanding guitar technician. His name is Todd Harmon, owner and operator of "State Line Luthier Works" in Portland, Tennessee. I've had the opportunity to work with Todd and to see much of his work, some of which has been on my own instruments. His finish work is excellent, as is his fret work, which he has learned from some of the best teachers in the country. Todd has a very good eye and feel for his trade. He is very detail-oriented and thorough in his work and gets the job done when he says he will.

If your axe has a problem, Todd's definitely the guy who can fix it right."

Dear Todd,
I just had to write and tell you how great my Telecaster was after you worked on it. As you know, I've had the guitar for a long time, but it's never played as well as it does now, even when it was new. I only used to use it for gigs and then put it back in its case, but now it's constantly out, and has become my number one 'doodling' guitar.

Thanks once again for your help, and I hope to see you again soon."

Todd, I came across your ezine article about handmade guitars. The article, though quite well written, isn't nearly as convincing as actually playing one of your guitars. I,ve personally had the pleasure of both hearing and playing a "Harmon" guitar and I can honestly say that it was the best finger style instrument I have ever come across! So much for your article. I also followed the link to "acousticguitarcorner.com" with which, I assume, you are affiliated and checked out your full line of accessories, looks like you,re sticking with the cream of the crop in this venture also.
P.S., The pricing looks very competative as well.

"Having been in the music business for over 42 years, and playing guitar for such Country Greats as Red Sovine, Mel Street, Margo Smith, Boxcar Willie, Bobby Lewis, Gordon Terry, Doyle Holly and others to numerous to mention, at one time or another I have played acoustic guitars made by every major guitar manufacture both US and abroad. However, the quality, workmanship, sound and playability of Todd Harmon's guitar far exemplify any so far. Todd's ear for tone and intonation, along with his perfection of fit and finish establish his guitars as works of art, far superior to anything available. "
