         Sullivan Guitars is located in Tennessee and our in-house luthier there has reaped the benefits of working with some of the best acoustic guitar builders in the business. Jim Sullivan ventured out on his own in 2002 and has produced some of the best sounding and most beautiful custom handmade guitars in the market place today. His headstock and bridge designs are very unique and make his work very easy to identify from across the room. He's building grand classical size steel string guitars that sound big and loud like a dreadnaught or jumbo. His custom hand made guitars incorporate a design in the side assembly, patented by master luthier Paul McGill, that dramatically and dynamically changes the way the guitar works. It has also removed the necessity for things like neck sets in 15 or 20 years down the road by removing a lot of the inherent problems that come along with traditional factory and manufacturing construction techniques.
